The 5th China Spinning Intelligence Technology Forum Successfully Convened
On August 30, 2024, the 5th China Spinning Intelligence Technology Forum, hosted by the National Cotton Textile Science and Technology Information Center and the "Cotton Textile Technology" Journal, and co-hosted by Hicorp Machinery (Qingdao) Ltd., was successfully held in Wuxi. The event attracted representatives from over 140 textile industry chain enterprises, textile universities, and research institutes nationwide, who gathered to exchange ideas on the latest trends, pathways, and achievements in spinning intelligence. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic, with the conference broadcast live online, attracting thousands of viewers.
With the theme of "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Connectivity, Collaborative Development Towards the 'New'," the forum focused on discussing key technologies for building smart factories, sharing automation and intelligent transformation application practices in key processes, and exploring how spinning enterprises can focus on both the future and the present, empowering efficient spinning through digital and intelligent production, and promoting high-quality and sustainable development of traditional textile enterprises.
Industry leaders and experts delivered important speeches at the forum, and our Deputy General Manager Guo Jiayang attended and presented a report titled "Innovative Applications of Equipment in Spinning Smart Factories."

In his report, Guo Jiayang introduced the innovative applications of equipment in spinning smart factories, emphasizing that Saitex's "mechatronic hose integration" intelligent equipment meets the transformation and upgrading needs of customers in the new era, addressing market pain points and bottlenecks. The report highlighted Saitex's smart factory equipment, a new generation of intelligent coarse yarn spinning machines, the fourth-generation cone yarn packaging lines, and related product application scenarios. These intelligent equipments better meet the transformation and upgrading needs of customers in the new era, addressing market pain points and bottlenecks, and are deeply loved by customers both domestically and internationally.
Guo Jiayang expressed confidence in the company's development and future, as well as in China's textile industry. Xu Yuanzhi, Party Secretary and General Manager of Shaanxi Textile Science and Research Institute Co., Ltd., delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizers, warmly welcoming the guests and sharing his views on promoting spinning intelligence and building new productive forces in the textile industry.
In his speech, Jing Shenquan, Vice President of the China National Cotton Textile Association, stated that the industry must transform towards intelligence, greenness, and service-orientation, whether from the reconstruction of the international textile industry chain or the trend of diversified domestic consumption. Many enterprises are already firmly exploring this path.
Professor Cheng Longdi from Donghua University presented a report titled "Frontier Technologies and Future Development Prospects of Intelligent Textiles," detailing the process characteristics of spinning production and proposing unique solutions and innovations to address technical challenges and bottlenecks in intelligent upgrading.
Gao Yanzhong, Director of the Production Technology Department of Weiqiao Textile Co., Ltd., presented a report titled "Production Practice of Multi-Variety Smart Spinning Mills with 5G+ Textile Industrial Internet," introducing the concept and application prospects of 5G+ Textile Industrial Internet, sharing cases of multi-variety smart spinning mill production practices, assessing construction effectiveness and advantages, and analyzing the feasibility and potential benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises.
In the afternoon, delegates visited the intelligent workshop of Wuxi No. 1 Cotton Mill. The full-process cone yarn intelligent packaging and logistics system built by Hicorp Machinery (Qingdao) Ltd. for Wuxi No. 1 Cotton Mill became the focus of attention during the visit. According to estimates, the intelligent transformation has increased production efficiency by 15%, reduced operating costs by 11%, and decreased labor intensity by 30% at Wuxi No. 1 Cotton Mill. The workshop has achieved less than 10 workers per 10,000 spindles, reaching a leading level in the textile industry. By visiting and understanding the operation mode of the intelligent workshop and its refined production and management model, practical cases were provided for enterprises to improve.
The China Spinning Intelligence Technology Forum has been held for five consecutive years, focusing from the digitization and informatization of textile enterprises to the continuity and automation of key areas, from exploring intelligent transformation of key processes to the application practices of domestically advanced smart factories.
