Showcasing the "International Vibe" - Qingdao Hicorp Group's English Speech Contest Successfully Held
In order to continuously implement the company's international development strategy, enhance the enthusiasm of employees in learning and applying English, strengthen English language learning and exchanges, and provide young employees with an opportunity and platform to showcase and improve themselves, a speech contest with a distinctive "international vibe" kicked off with great enthusiasm at the headquarters of Qingdao Hicorp Group on July 30th. The contest received overwhelming positive responses from employees, and a total of 25 participants were selected through recommendations from various companies and functional departments to compete.
The speech contest invited leaders and university teachers with rich overseas work experience and solid English proficiency to serve as judges. The contestants took the stage in the order they drew, and were ranked in both the professional and amateur categories. The 25 contestants, some passionate and fiery, others eloquent and expressive, fully demonstrated their unique insights and solid English proficiency, showcasing the vibrant and positive demeanor of Hicorp's youth.
After two hours of intense and thrilling competition, the contest culminated in the selection of one gold, one silver, and one bronze award winner in the professional category, as well as two first-prize, two second-prize, and four third-prize winners in the amateur category.
Group Deputy General Manager Chen Xiuyan commented on the contestants' performances, fully acknowledging and praising their English proficiency and speaking skills, as well as their spiritual demeanor. She called on everyone to utilize the platform of the English club to learn and use English well, laying a solid foundation for the group's march towards the international market.
